Peer Review Process
Manuscripts submitted to the journal are sent to the members of the editorial board or other experts according to the profile of scientific research, provided that the editor-in-chief has a positive response. The main criteria for evaluating a manuscript by the editor-in-chief are: originality of content, high quality, scientific rigor, and interest for a wide audience of readers. The journal operates a system of double “blind” review.
If necessary, by decision of the editor-in-chief, external specialists with academic degrees and (or) academic titles may be involved in the review.
Articles written by members of the editorial board of the journal alone or in co-authorship are not reviewed.
As a rule, specialists working in the same institution where the work was performed are not involved in the review.
Reviewers are informed that the manuscripts they send are the private property of the authors and are classified information.
The reviewer is not allowed to make copies of articles for his/her own needs.
The author of the reviewed work is given the opportunity to familiarize himself/herself with the text of the review.
If the review of this article indicates the need for correction, it is sent to the author for revision. In this case, the date of receipt by the editorial office is the date of return of the revised article.
In case of disagreement with the reviewer's opinion, the author of the article has the right to provide a reasoned response to the editorial office of the journal. The article may be sent for re-review or for approval by the editorial board.
The decision on the advisability of publication after review is made by the editor-in-chief, and if necessary, by the editorial board as a whole.
