AGROECOLOGICAL SUBSTITUTION OF GROWING VEGETABLE BEAN USING DRIP IRRIGATION IN THE CONDITIONS OF SOUTHERN UKRAINE

Abstract

The article substantiates the cultivation of vegetable beans using drip irrigation in the conditions of southern Ukraine from the point of view of agroecological aspects. The analysis of the current state of development of drip irrigation in the conditions of the Black Sea steppe of Ukraine indicates stable trends in the gradual growth of areas and expansion of the range of cultivated crops. One of the promising vegetable crops that will ensure stable profits for agricultural enterprises when grown under drip irrigation conditions is beans. The results of field studies showed that the highest yield of bean grain was formed when chiseling was performed to a depth of 20-22 cm, mineral fertilizers were applied at the rate of N9QP1Q5 at a pre-irrigation threshold of 75-80% of the NPK - 4.45 t/ha. The use of drip irrigation when growing beans in the Black Sea steppe ensures a bean yield of 4.5 tons and helps reduce water consumption by up to 50 percent compared to the traditional technology of growing beans under irrigation, which significantly reduces the man-made load on the environment and increases the economic efficiency of agriculture on reclaimed lands.
