Abstract

The article is devoted to studying o f the effect o f a growth regulators mixture o f chlormequat chloride and treptolem on the sunflower seeds quality indicators. The results o f three years studies suggest that the reduction o f protein nitrogen content in seeds and the increase o f phosphorus content has occurred due to processing o f sunflower crops by means o f mixture o f growth inhibitor with anti-gibberellin mechanism o f action - chlormequat chloride and cytokinin stimulator treptolem. Herewith the content o f potassium by variants o f experiment has not significantly changed. Such changes in the contents o f nutrition elements positively influence the process o f oil accumulation and improve the quality o f sunflower meal. The content o f reducing sugars, saccharose and starch in sunflower seeds for actions mixtures o f retardant with the stimulator was lower than in the control regardless o f the weather conditions o f vegetation.We have found that mixture o f multidirectional growth regulators has increased the oil content in sunflower seeds. Herewith the quality o f oil has depended substantially on weather conditions o f vegetation. The mixture o f preparations in hot and droughty vegetation conditions in 2007 y. has led to increase the number o f saponification, essential number, glycerine content and has not changed the indicator o f iodine number. The growth o f oil unsaturation depends on sufficient water supply and comfortable temperature conditions. We have investigated that the correlation o f unsaturated higher fatty acids to saturated in drought conditions during the action o f the mixture o f retardant and growth stimulator decreased compared with control and it has increased in optimal conditions.The residual quantity o f the growth regulators in seeds has not exceed the maximum permissible concentration.
